Did you spend a lot of money buying lip gloss? Instead of buying commercial lip gloss, you can make it yourself. If you like fruit, chocolate, flower, or peppermint lip gloss and put it in Lip Gloss Containers, you can follow a few simple recipes to make it yourself.
Lip Gloss with Kool-aid Fruit
1 cup of petroleum jelly
1 package of Kool-aid with your favorite taste
Melt petroleum jelly. Place the petroleum jelly in a bowl that is safe for microwave heating. Heat for 30 seconds. Take out the jelly and stir, check the consistency. Continue to heat for 30 seconds until it turns liquid. Pour the Kool-aid. When this jelly turns liquid, let it cool for a while. The temperature of the liquid jelly must be the same as the room temperature. Pour Kool-aid into liquid jelly. Stir until the crystals from the Kool-aid are dissolved. Complete this lip gloss. Pour this mixture into a small lip gloss container. Allow this mixture to cool in the container. The mixture should turn hard in about two hours. When it’s been two hours, check the consistency. If it’s still too runny, leave it for another hour. The amount of lip gloss container needed to hold it depends on the size of the container used. You can buy containers like this at beauty supply stores.
